Batteries have been replaced and the site brought back online at 9:18am. Around 9:30am technicians did a firmware upgrade which would have restarted services again. Please power cycle your WiFi equipment and devices if you are still having issues with service. If you are still having trouble connecting please call 0508 739 638 and leave a voicemail or alternatively email support@rexnetworks.co.nz

It's looking more and more unlikely the batteries will reach their reconnect set point today, therefore we will put the alternative plan into action first thing tomorrow. We expect to have service fully restored by Saturday 4th at 9 am. Apologies for another evening without service!
- UpdateUpdate
We have an alternative plan underway to bring the site online should the batteries not charge enough today. A lightweight battery replacement has been sourced and this is in the process of being charged to 100% before deployment at the site. This option is able to be deployed in a safe manner during these weather/site access track conditions. Further updates are to come regarding deployment.
- UpdateUpdate
Technician has been to site to assess. No damage observed but storm debris were located on top of the solar array. These have been shifted and cleaned off the panel surface. Solar system is charging again and will auto-reconnect power when batteries are charged enough to do so. An immediate swap of existing batteries to get the site online will not be possible under these conditions unfortunately. We'll continue to monitor the situation and update this should anything change.

We have been alerted to a site power failure at the No 3 Rd high site. There are indications this is a charging-related fault that may be weather related. Our technicians will investigate the issue onsite tomorrow morning and provide an update here. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.
