We are doing software updates and reboots on core network infrastructure to ensure continued stability, performance and security. Services connected will have multiple outages from 1:00 am.
Some services will switch between core routers throughout this window.
We expect up to multiple instances of interruption during this work.
Our upstream partner has confirmed the service interruption was caused by a network device reboot.
Services have since been restored and are currently operating normally.
We both apologise for the disruption and our upstream will continue to investigate the event to understand the cause and help prevent a recurrence.
Root cause identified, an upstream partner handover link was lost for 6 minutes.
We have raised it with the upstream to investigate the cause further.
If you still have no connectivity, please power off equipment wait 30 seconds and then power on again.
Connections are restoring, team is still looking for root cause.
We are doing a software update and reboot on our secondary core router (CCR2). Services connected will have multiple 15-minute outages from 1:00 am. Some services will switch between core routers throughout this window. We expect up to 3 instances of interruption during this work.
An upstream connectivity provider has scheduled an equipment change (card swap).
