    Services were restored at 5:55am, and the linesman from Unison has confirmed the fault has been resolved.

    Our rural fibre service in Paradise Valley is currently experiencing an unplanned outage due to a power network undervoltage event. An undervoltage state hadn't tripped our AC loss alarm, and our technician has gone to the site to verify the cause. A job has been raised with Unison with updates to follow.

    Technical teams advised the fibre has been cut at the corner of Youngston Road and SH2. The impacted cable id is TG19/ACG665. Technicians are excavating the cable ends and waiting for the cable to arrive for a temporary overlay.

    There is a large-scale outage affecting backhaul fibre between Paeroa and Tauranga, Otumoetai and Paeroa, and Katikati and Otumoetai. Our upstream provider's field team has been dispatched to investigate. There is no current estimated restoration time.
